R. Scot Dalton is an Insurance
Administration graduate of the Mohawk College of Applied Arts
and Technologies, in addition to being an Associate of the Insurance
Institute of Canada and a Chartered Insurance Broker. As the business
leader of a joint venture between a major publicly traded technology
firm and a private company with a variety of insurance interests,
he gained a wealth of experience in developing web-based software
targeted at the insurance industry. Scot was also the senior executive
in charge of direct insurance distribution for a major Canadian
insurance company, and has participated with numerous industry
advisory panels and professional organizations. These experiences
have given Scot a broad background in all facets of property/casualty
insurance from both a sales and technical standpoint – and
he now puts that background to work for clients of The Encore
Group.
